Zimbabwe cotton production is expected to increase

According to the forecast of Zimbabwean industry institutions, the cotton production in Zimbabwe in 2017/18 is expected to increase significantly from this year's 30,000 tons. Cottco, the country's only authorized cotton purchaser, has arranged $44 million in funds for cotton purchases.　　 It is reported that the Zimbabwe government proposed a plan to revitalize cotton.
