Vietnam exports 1,666,100 tons of yarn in 2020, a slight decrease year-on-year

In December 2020, Vietnam exported US$2.518 billion in textile and apparel, an increase of 12.33% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 15.27%; the export of yarns was 110,800 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 35.14% and a year-on-year decrease of 32.58%.　　 From January to December 2020, Vietnam exported US$29.332 billion in textiles and garments, a year-on-year decrease of 10.16%; exports of yarn were 1,666,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.85%. In December 2020, Vietnam imported 118,600 tons of cotton, an increase of 15.2% month-on-month and an increase of 26.34% year-on-year; imported yarns were 113,000 tons, an increase of 12.19% month-on-month, and an increase of 11.35% year-on-year; imported fabrics amounted to US$1.23 billion, a month-on-month increase of 10.49%, year-on-year Increased 7.08%.
