Turkey initiates anti-circumvention investigation against Chinese man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads

On March 20, 2020, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey issued Announcement No. 2020/4, regarding man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads originating in China (Turkish: sentetik ve suni devams?z liflerden iplikler (kesik elyaf ipli i) Initiate an anti-circumvention investigation to review whether the products involved are imported into Turkey through Cambodia to circumvent anti-dumping measures. The Turkish tax codes of the products involved are 55.08, 55.09, 55.10, 55.11 (excluding 5509.52, 5509.61, 5509.91, 5510.20).    2008 On January 11, Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation against man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads originating in China, Indonesia, and India. On January 12, 2009, Turkey began to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China, Indonesia, and India. On January 10, 2014, Turkey initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the products involved in the above three countries. On April 17, 2015, the Turkish Ministry of Economic Affairs issued Announcement No. 2015/8, involving cases involving China, Indonesia, and India. The product made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling. On August 22, 2015, Turkey launched an anti-circumvention investigation on Chinese man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads to examine whether the Chinese products involved in the case were imported into Turkey through the Taiwan region of China for circumvention Anti-dumping measures. On July 1, 2016, the Turkish Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 2016/22, starting to impose an anti-dumping duty of 0-0.80 USD/kg on the products involved in the Taiwan area of u200bu200bChina.    On October 18, 2012, Turkey had Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam initiated anti-dumping investigations on man-made and synthetic staple fiber yarns and sewing threads. On April 8, 2014, the Turkish Ministry of Economic Affairs issued Announcement No. 2014/2, beginning to involve Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Anti-dumping duties are levied on products.   On December 31, 2018, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/2, in response to the application of domestic Turkish companies, on artificial and synthetic products originating in China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
