by:Chengyi     2021-03-15
An estimation report issued by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region to the Ministry of Finance shows that Xinjiang is becoming the province with the highest investment enthusiasm for domestic textile enterprises. On February 6, the reporter learned from the textile industry office of the autonomous region that the cotton yarn produced in Xinjiang is 3,600 yuan cheaper per ton than in coastal areas and 4,600 yuan cheaper than Vietnam. With the support of a series of national and autonomous region policies, in 2016, Xinjiang added two textile companies on average every day. Data shows that at present, more than 40 well-known textile companies at home and abroad have invested in Xinjiang to set up factories. Among them, there are more than 10 listed companies, which has doubled from 2009. Newly built and reorganized cotton textile production capacity from outside Xinjiang accounted for more than 85% of Xinjiang’s total production capacity, and inland enterprises in Xinjiang have become the mainstay of Xinjiang’s textile and garment industry. It is understood that Xinjiang has formed five major industrial clusters: Urumqi-Changji, Shihezi-Kuitun, Korla-Weili, Aksu-Alar, and Kashgar, and initially formed the industrial cluster development pattern of 'three cities and seven parks'. Xinjiang, as the main cotton producing area in my country, cotton resources account for more than 60% of the national output. Nowadays, Xinjiang's textile and garment industry is expanding from cotton and spinning to downstream weaving, printing and dyeing, knitting, clothing, accessories, and auxiliary machinery, forming a clear industry positioning and development direction that reflects Xinjiang's characteristics. As of the end of November 2016, Xinjiang had added 258 textile and garment enterprises from the mainland to invest in Xinjiang, of which weaving and other back-end enterprises and knitting, clothing, home textiles and other terminal enterprises accounted for more than 70%. In the future, the autonomous region will focus on seven major industries, including clothing, cotton textiles, wool textiles, knitting, chemical fiber, printing and dyeing, carpets, etc., to increase investment promotion, focusing on attracting superior brand enterprises in the eastern and central regions and leading enterprises in the entire industry chain to develop in Xinjiang and strive for By 2020, an important national cotton spinning industry base, a clothing and apparel production base in the northwestern region and the core area of u200bu200bthe Silk Road Economic Belt, and a westward export distribution center will be basically completed.
