Tajikistan spinning mill produces more than 60,000 tons of cotton yarn in 3 years

According to a report from the Avista News Agency of Tajikistan in Dushanbe on June 16, in the last three years (2017-2019), Tajikistan’s spinning mills have produced more than 60,000 tons of cotton yarn, and the total output value of light industrial enterprises (including ginning plants) Up to 8 billion somoni. According to data from the Ministry of Industry and New Technology of Tajikistan, there are 18 spinning mills in Tajikistan that can produce 80,000 tons of cotton yarn per year if they operate in three shifts. Due to lack of working capital and severe equipment wear and tear, some textile companies in Tajikistan are not operating at full capacity.
