Pakistan initiates anti-dumping investigation against new exporters of Chinese polyester filament yarn

On February 21, 2020, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued Announcement No. 46/2016/NTC/PFY/NR/2020, stating that the Chinese manufacturer/exporter Suzhou Rusheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. (Suzhou Rusheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd.) The application submitted on January 27 initiated an anti-dumping new exporter's review and investigation of polyester filament yarn (Polyester Filament Yarn) imported from China and Malaysia. The involved products include polyester textured yarn (tax code: 5402.3300), fully drawn yarn (tax code: 5402.4700), multi-strand yarn (tax code: 5402.6200), excluding colored polyester filament yarns. The investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. During the investigation, the company involved in the case should pay 11.35% of the cash deposit at cost plus freight (Cu0026F). The investigating agency is expected to make a final review within 6-12 months of the publication of the announcement.  Stakeholders should register to respond to the suit within 15 days of the announcement, and submit evidence materials within 30 days.
