Business Club: USDA raises global inventories on July 13, ICE futures fell slightly

by:Chengyi     2021-03-15
On July 12, 2017, the USDA monthly report reduced the 2017/18 U.S. production and ending stocks, but increased the global ending stocks for this year and next year. At the same time, the rise in the U.S. dollar puts pressure on the market. Affected by this, ICE futures fell slightly, and the December contract spit out the previous day's gains. The monthly report confirms the expectation of increasing global production next year, and the market will continue to operate in a weakened position. Statistics: The December contract was 67.27 cents, down 40 points, and the March contract was 66.94 cents, down 33 points; the trading volume was 14,421 lots, a decrease of 5385 lots from the previous trading day, and the registered inventory was 77,766 packs, a decrease of 24,131 packs, and 1,199 packs.
