US Cotton Export Weekly: Signing and shipments increase, China's imports are active

According to a report from the US Department of Agriculture, on August 11-17, 2017, the net contracted volume of U.S. cotton exports for 2017/18 was 63,000 tons. The new contracts are mainly from China (10,200 tons), Mexico (10,000 tons), Vietnam (8437 tons), Turkey (8233 tons), Bangladesh (5828 tons) and Indonesia (5216 tons).   The net contracted amount of upland cotton in the United States in 2018/19 was 11,800 tons, and the buyers were Mexico and Pakistan.   The shipment volume of upland cotton in 2017/18 was 50,300 tons, mainly to Vietnam (12,300 tons), Indonesia (7235 tons), China (5216 tons), India (4831 tons) and Turkey (4831 tons).   The contracted volume of net export of Pima cotton in 2017/18 was 1565 tons, and the buyers were China (1043 tons), Thailand (204 tons), South Korea (204 tons) and India (68 tons).   The U.S. net export contract volume of Pima cotton in 2018/19 is -249 tons, including Thailand (-204 tons) and India (-45 tons).   The shipment volume of Pima cotton in 2017/18 was 227 tons, mainly to India (90 tons) and China (90 tons). Article keywords:  美棉
