Shandong garment textile yarn exports set a new high for two consecutive months

Driven by the rebound of the textile and apparel industry in the third quarter, Shandong’s textile yarn exports reached new highs in September and October this year, with exports of 880 million U.S. dollars and 820 million U.S. dollars respectively. However, from the statistical analysis of the first ten months, Shandong's textile yarn, fabric and products exports totaled 8.19 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 8.3% from the same period last year. At present, with the reduction of raw material costs, textile enterprises can receive more and more orders from foreign customers. At the same time, affected by the seasonality of textiles, most foreign customers placed orders in the third quarter. There was a slight increase in October. However, because the overall international market environment has not fundamentally improved, the number of orders in the next few months is not optimistic.
