Indian yarn demand is still insufficient and prices are falling

by:Chengyi     2021-03-15
In the past week, the demand for Indian yarn was still insufficient, and prices fell. China’s RMB exchange rate has significantly restricted China’s demand for imported yarn, which is not good news for Indian yarn mills. Although international cotton prices and Chinese cotton prices have fallen, Indian cotton prices have remained unchanged. Insufficient external demand and continued production costs have caused the operating profits of Indian yarn mills to shrink. If Indian cotton yarn wants to compete in the international market, raw material costs have overwhelmed them. Affected by the price of MSP in India, Indian yarn mills believe that cotton prices will not fall in sync with the international market.
