India's cotton prices rebounded slightly, raising cotton yarn export prices to China

During the week of August 1-9, Indian cotton prices rebounded slightly, and cotton yarn export prices fell. According to statistics, the price of S-6 cotton rose by Rs 200/Kandy to Rs.42,400/Kandy last week, but it still fell by 1.4% over the past four weeks and 10.55% from the same period last year; cotton yarn export prices dropped slightly, of which 30S The price of pure cotton yarn fell slightly by 5 cents to 2.9 cents per pound, a drop of 6.45% from the same period last year.   With the rebound of polyester prices, the price of polyester-cotton blended yarns rose slightly. Among them, the price of 65%/35% blended 30S yarn rose slightly by 3 cents/lb to 2.7 cents/lb, down 1.82% from the same period last year.   Although India’s overall cotton yarn export price has been lowered, its export price to China has risen slightly by about 0.35 cents/lb, which is higher than the average level of the past four weeks.
