As a major textile country, China has been slower than Europe, America, Japan and South Korea in the development of functional and technological fabrics. However, a reporter from Chinese Commercial Daily learned that the functional yarns developed and produced in China this year have been exported to Japan for the first time. Zhao Danqing, CEO of Shanghai Xingnuo Kanglun Fiber Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters that the company's antibacterial moisture wicking product CLEANCOOL has exported several tons to Japan through Japanese commercial agencies, and the export volume will further increase next year.
Moisture wicking fiber products have always been popular in the market. Its representative product is COOLMAX, invented by DuPont and now a product of INVISTA, the world's largest integrated fiber and polymer company. COOLMAX hang tags can often be seen on higher-end sports brand apparel. After the commercial success of COOLMAX's moisture wicking concept, it also attracted many followers. According to incomplete statistics, there are no less than 20 names starting with COOL, such as COOLFIRST, COOLPLUS, COOLDRY, etc.
However, in addition to moisture wicking effects, new functional fabrics also have an increasing demand for antibacterial. It is understood that, as a manufacturer with a strong technical foundation in the domestic textile field, CLEANCOOL developed by Kanglun Fiber adds a silver-based antibacterial substance inside the fiber, which can simultaneously control sweat and bacteria. As a result, the product was the first to be favored in the military field, including being designated as a raw material for underwear by the British Ministry of Defense, equipped with the Chinese Navy's Gulf of Aden escort fleet, the Spanish National Guard and so on. Zhao Danqing told the Chinese Commercial Daily that the commercial development of antibacterial absorbent fibers is under further development. In addition to exporting to Japan, it has also been purchased by clothing brands such as Li Ning, Pathfinder, and Vancl Eslite. This year, it has also entered the home textile field and has been used in batches in brands such as Luolai, Red Fuji, and Dream Lily.
