Cenhe Town Knitting Garment Industry Cluster Speeds Up

Since its development in the 1950s, the knitwear industry in Cenhe Town has a history of nearly 60 years. At present, the town has formed a complete industrial chain from cotton processing, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, garment manufacturing, garment packaging to product sales. The town has 470 knitting enterprises, including 32 cotton processing, 4 spinning, 45 weaving, 3 printing and dyeing, 373 garment manufacturing, and 13 garment packaging. Independently registered trademarks include well-known brands such as 'Yufeng' and 'Kangliang' and more than 50 'Oudiyahao' and 'Baiaihaoyirand.
At the same time, the town has also established 4 associations for the knitting industry, printing and dyeing, ready-to-wear and weaving; Yufeng Knitwear Ru0026D Center has been established; two professional websites, China Knitwear Trade Net and China Knitwear Online Mall , Hubei Cenxin Knitting Garment Service Co., Ltd. and 4 professional garment logistics companies have been established for professional knitting services. It is reported that the Shashi knitwear industry cluster with Cenhe Town as the main body passed the provincial inspection and acceptance for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010, becoming one of the 60 key industrial clusters in Hubei Province. The town’s knitting product sales revenue in 2010 reached 2.39 billion yuan, it is expected to reach 3 billion yuan in 2011, and it will reach 6 billion yuan in 2015.
