However, the spot price of cotton yarn before the holiday was generally stable, and the prices of individual varieties were slightly lowered. At present, the selling price of 40 carded cotton yarn in most cotton spinning mills is 24000-24500 yuan/ton, which is basically the same as that of the first half of the month. Before the holiday, the factories mainly produced according to orders, so the cotton yarn inventory was generally not large. Some factories are optimistic about the market outlook and are reluctant to sell. It is understood that the cotton yarn inventory at the end of January this year increased slightly compared to the end of December last year.　　 The Spring Festival is approaching, and the overall holiday time of the cotton spinning mill has not changed much from last year. The early ones were shut down on January 28th (the 16th day of the twelfth lunar month), and the late ones had to wait until February 11th (the 30th day of the twelfth lunar month) before closing. After the Spring Festival, the cotton spinning mills will resume work at different times.
